We can’t believe it’s over.

We have just returned home from touring two months steady. England, Scotland,
Ireland, Ontario, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, the Yukon and Alberta. Each
town, each city, each Province, Territory and Country had its own charm. Each
treated us like gold. Each had amazing crowds singing along to Newfoundland
music, our music. We kid you not when we say an ugly stick made an appearance.
We simply had the best time and we can’t wait to do it all again. But first, a
small break.

Fans have been asking for two years, but the time has finally come – shortly after Xmas, the Once will be returning overseas, as BPA Live and Andy Peters present an extensive tour of the UK and Southern and Northern Ireland. THE ONCE CHRISTMAS
2 nights: Friday, December 7th and Saturday, December 8th, 2012

Celebrating the yuletide spirit through music, stories and good times. The Once look forward all year to these Christmas shows and are excited to be able to play at the Gower Street United Church again.

Tickets are $25 (including HST and service fees). They’re available now cash only at Fred’s Records and O’Brien’s Music.

6:30 pm doors. 7:30 pm showtime. No drinks (other than water) are allowed in the Sanctuary.

The Once Fall 2012 Tour – On Sale Now!

Tickets for the Once’s fall tour are now on sale; during Mid-November the Once will be playing in the Maritimes, Quebec and Southern Ontario. This tour will include a lot of new ground, including their Montreal debut, an appearance at Ottawa’s prestigious National Arts Centre, and a headline show at Toronto’s famous Glen Gould Theatre – plus a return to the Company House in Halifax, the Cedar Tree Cafe in Fredericton, and many more. Fresh off a summer packed with headline festival appearances across Canada, the Once are eager to get out across the country and perform songs from their best-selling Borealis album ‘Row Upon Row Of The People They Know’. Keep watching this site for announcements about shows in Western Canada in the winter, and their long-awaited return to England, Scotland and Ireland.
